Weapon Classes
Understand what each weapon class is and how they are used.
After joining the realm and being sorted into a house, your next step in creating a character is choosing your Weapon Class.
Weapon Class determines what type of weapons your character is proficient in. The available weapon classes are: One-Handed, Two-Handed, Ranged, and Dual Wield.
Note: You may still use a weapon from another Weapon Class, but you will attack at a disadvantage.

Weapon Properties
Light: A light weapon is small and easy to handle, allowing it to be Dual Wielded.
Reach: This weapon adds 5 feet to your reach when you attack with it, as well as when determining your reach for opportunity attacks with it.
Loading: Because of the time required to load this weapon, you must use an action to reload this weapon after it has been fired.
Thrown: If a weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon to make a ranged attack.
Versatile: This weapon can be used with one or two hands. A damage value in parentheses appears with the property--the damage when the weapon is used with one hand to make a melee attack.
